Teachers are communicators
Communication should be taken seriously not only at home but in school. This is why an early childhood teacher is expected to exert every effort he can to communicate with your toddler. In so doing, he will be able to identify what your child specifically needs. This can help him address differences from one child to another.
The teacher extends his communication skills to other people apart from your child. This includes communicating with school staff and administrators as well as the general public. Of course, he also will communicate with parents to help you understand your children even better. As such, he must be open-minded enough to share his own experiences, ask questions and seek advice as necessary.
Teachers are also managers
The teacher has tons of paperwork and a couple of materials to work with. He must ensure that everything is appropriate with your child’s learning environment. He should also be able to manage the classroom by paying attention to details and with an unparalleled level of commitment. He must also be able to negotiate with all people he works with. He must manage his time so that he will be able to commit himself to the needs of the children he teaches.
